Gorillas & Chimps Luxury Safari

Upon Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, VIP meet and greet and assisted through immigration, collect your luggage and exit the arrivals terminal where you will be met by your driver/Guide and transferred to your Hotel

After Early morning breakfast, We leave for Kibaale Forest National park. Also stop in fort portal for lunch. In the afternoon we will arrive at Kibaale Forest, where we will stay enjoying the evening and sleeping with the noises of the tropical rainforest. Upon arrival you will relax enjoying the evening at the lodge

In the morning, your chimpanzee tracking excursion will commence. Kibale forest boasts of the highest number of primate species in the world, including our delightful cousins – the chimpanzees. At the moment, in Uganda there are approximately 4,950 chimps left in the wild, which makes the forest a perfect and best place to spot chimpanzees in Africa! During the excursion, your ranger will point out the other species living in the forest including birds, flora and fauna. You will later settle in

In the morning, we will drive out of Kibale National park for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic route runs through a verdant countryside while you pass traditional homesteads and farms. Yes we will make stop overs along the way for lunch and viewing the scenic routes. Upon arrival have a batwa community experience the rest of the evening.

Today, you will do the gorilla tracking. At 7:45 am, you will be at the office of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a pre-briefing, and at 8.30 am, you will start the trek. After finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them. All visitors are expected back at the starting point by 7:00 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.

After an early breakfast, you will travel back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport. This is an 8-hour journey On the way back to the city, you will have lunch in Mbarara town. After Masaka, there will be an opportunity to stop at the equator for photos, buy souvenirs, and have tea or coffee. There is an option of taking a flight from Kihihi to Entebbe for those who can't bare long distances.
