Adventure Knit is a young online marketplace where local tour operators — trekking outfits, cultural guides, expedition companies — list their tours and travelers book them directly. Operators keep control of their itineraries, pricing, and policies; we provide the platform, the secure checkout, and the quality standards.
We're early. We won't claim decades of history or tens of thousands of travelers, because we'd rather earn your trust than fake it. What we can promise is transparency: verification badges our team grants only after checking real identity documents, listings that pass a quality review before they publish, and refund terms shown clearly before you pay.
Our starting focus is adventure travel across South Asia and beyond — working directly with the local clubs and operators who know these mountains, valleys, and cities best.
How We Keep It Trustworthy

Our team reviews operator identity documents before granting the Verified badge. It cannot be bought or self-assigned, and operators that have not passed review do not carry it.
Listing quality gates
A tour cannot be published until it passes completeness and quality checks — itinerary detail, real photos, and a refund policy are required.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers.
Refund terms up front
Every tour shows its operator's cancellation and refund policy before you pay — no surprises after checkout.
About our sample listings
While we grow our operator community, part of our catalogue consists of sample tours created by Adventure Knit to show how the platform works. They're always labeled with a Sample badge, carry no fabricated ratings or reviews, and are kept out of search engines. Real operator listings are the ones with the Verified badge and genuine traveler reviews.
