Welcome to Adventure Knit. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our platform or booking a tour, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, browsing tours, or making a booking on Adventure Knit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the platform.
We act as a marketplace connecting tourists with independent adventure tour operators ("Clubs"). We are not a tour operator ourselves. Each Club is responsible for delivering the tour experience they advertise.
2 Account Registration
To book tours or list tours as a Club, you need an account. When you register, you must:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your account details up to date.
- Protect your password and not share it with anyone.
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these requirements.
3 Booking & Payment
When you book a tour, you are entering into an agreement with the Club that operates that tour. Adventure Knit processes the payment but is not a party to that agreement.
- Prices are listed in the currency shown on the tour page. Prices may change, but a confirmed booking locks in your price.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Confirmation is sent via email once your payment succeeds. A booking is not confirmed until you receive this email.
- Taxes and fees may apply depending on the tour location and will be shown before you complete payment.
If a payment fails, the booking will not be confirmed. You can retry payment from your booking page.
4 Cancellations
Each Club sets its own cancellation policy. You can find the policy on the tour page before booking. In general, the following applies unless the Club's policy says otherwise:
- Cancellations made more than the Club's stated refund window before the tour date qualify for a full refund.
- Late cancellations may receive a partial refund or no refund, depending on the Club's policy.
- Cancellations by the Club will result in a full refund to you.

5 User Conduct
When using Adventure Knit, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
- Provide false or misleading information in your profile or reviews.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or other users' experience.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, Club operators, or our staff.
- Post content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on someone else's rights.
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or ratings.
- Resell or transfer bookings without permission from the Club.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or ban users who violate these rules. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
6 Intellectual Property
The Adventure Knit platform, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Adventure Knit or its licensors. It is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without our written permission. Club operators retain ownership of their tour content, photos, and descriptions.
By posting content on our platform (such as reviews or photos), you grant Adventure Knit a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services.
7 Liability Limitations
Adventure Knit is a marketplace. We connect tourists with Clubs, but we do not operate tours ourselves. This means:
- We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of any tour.
- We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from a tour experience.
- We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of Club operators, their employees, or third-party suppliers.
- If a tour does not go ahead as described, your primary remedy is with the Club operator.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Adventure Knit's total liability for any claim related to our platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8 Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with a Club about a tour, we encourage you to contact the Club first. Most issues can be resolved directly.
If you cannot resolve the issue with the Club, you can contact our support team. We will try to mediate between you and the Club, but we are not obligated to do so and cannot guarantee a specific outcome.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be governed by the laws of {{JURISDICTION}}, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in {{JURISDICTION}} for the resolution of any disputes.
9 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will:
- Post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
- Notify you by email if the changes are significant.
- Give you at least 30 days' notice before material changes take effect.
Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the platform and close your account.
