Tour Overview
This is a six-day, five-night loop through Morocco that starts and ends in Marrakech. It crosses the High Atlas Mountains to the kasbahs of Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou, continues to the Sahara Desert for a camel ride and a night in a desert camp, then turns north to Fes, Volubilis, Chefchaouen, Rabat and Casablanca. Most days are built around a scenic drive with stops along the way, such as the Ounila Valley, Todra Gorge, a cedar forest in the Middle Atlas and the Roman ruins at Volubilis. The imperial cities and coastal sights come in the second half, with Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas in Rabat, and the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. You sleep in a riad, a desert camp, a riad again and then a hotel for two nights. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included on the first two days, and the later days include fewer meals.
