This 8-day, 7-night loop starts and ends in Marrakech. It crosses the High Atlas to the Dades Valley, continues to the Merzouga dunes for a night in a desert camp, then turns north through the Middle Atlas to Fez, Chefchaouen and the coast. Most days are spent travelling between places by vehicle, with stops along the way: a kasbah, film studios, a gorge, a cedar forest, Roman ruins and a mosque. Fez gets a full day on foot with a guide, and the last day in Marrakech is a guided medina tour. Nights are spent in riads, a desert camp and hotels. Meals are included on most days, and the trip suits young adults and families.
