Your journey begins with a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch, with scenic aerial views of the Great Rift Valley. After hotel check-in, visit Dorze Village in the Guge Mountains to photograph its famous beehive-shaped houses and meet local weavers creating traditional cotton textiles. In the late afternoon, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo, capture vivid sunset landscapes, and receive a briefing for the expedition ahead. After breakfast, you drive south with a stop at the UNESCO-listed Konso Cultural Landscape, famous for stone terraces, wooden grave markers (waga statues), and fortified villages. This is a rare opportunity to photograph indigenous engineering and daily rural life. You continue toward the lower Omo Valley, arriving in Turmi in the afternoon. Depart early from Turmi to Kangate to visit the Nyangatom community and photograph their traditional lifestyle. Continue along the Omo River to meet the Karo people, famous for expressive body painting using natural pigments. Capture portraits, village life, and riverside scenery respectfully. Return toward Turmi and visit a Hamar weekly market if available. You may witness a traditional bull jumping ceremony if scheduled and permitted by the community. Depart early from Turmi to Mago National Park with a local guide to visit a Mursi village. Learn about local traditions and photograph village life respectfully, always asking permission before taking portraits. Return to Jinka in the afternoon for lunch and a short rest. Later, drive to nearby Ari village to discover pottery making, farming traditions, and colorful clothing. Meet local residents, observe daily activities, and capture cultural details with care. Overnight at Nasa Hotel in Jinka.

After breakfast at your hotel in Jinka, finish packing for your domestic flight to Addis Ababa. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring to Jinka Airport.
